Noom alternative

Search results treat Noom like a calorie app with extra branding. It is not. Noom sells a weight-loss program. Corvex sells a tracker. Mixing those jobs is how people waste a year of billing or wonder why an app will not coach them.

Updated 2026-08-16By Chris RichardsAll comparisons

Corvex wins

  • A tracker you can use without a 12-month plan
  • No ads, no colour-coded food morality in the UI
  • Calories, macros, and weight without a lesson queue
  • A free tier that logs food on day one

Noom wins

  • A behavior-change curriculum, not just a diary
  • Coaching and program structure
  • A wider platform than iOS-only
  • Accountability that a silent log will never be

Verdict

Choose Noom if you want a curriculum, coaching, and a program you will pay program prices for. Choose Corvex if you already know how you want to eat and you need a calm log. Corvex is not a Noom replacement.

Best for: People who need a food and weight log, not a course.

The Corvex Journal screen: a week-long day picker with Thursday 23 selected, the daily calorie ring, and a macro breakdown showing protein at 25% of intake, carbs 35% and fat 39%.
The Journal screen — the day’s food log with the week always in view.

Different products, same search box

Noom’s own comparison blog (checked 16 August 2026) describes Weight plans from “$70 per month (month-to-month) to $209 for an annual plan,” billed as a 12-month auto-renewing plan. That is program pricing. A calorie tracker that charges seventy dollars a month is either a scandal or a different category. Here it is the second thing.

Corvex does not offer coaches, lessons, or a psychology curriculum. It will not colour-code your lunch. It will not message you about mindset. If those are the features you want, this page should send you back to Noom — or to a human clinician — not into an App Store install as a loophole.

When a tracker is the wrong hire

People look for a Noom alternative because the bill arrived, the lessons felt like homework, or the food logging was never the part they liked. Only one of those problems is solved by a prettier diary.

  • If the program structure is what kept you consistent, a silent log will feel like abandonment. That is not a UI complaint.
  • If you wanted clinical support, neither Noom nor Corvex replaces a dietitian. Corvex is general information, not medical advice.
  • If you have a history of disordered eating, a tighter tracker can be a worse tool, not a cheaper one. The NIMH overview on eating disorders is the right door, not an app switch.

When a tracker is the right hire

You already have a way of eating. You can count, or you are willing to learn from a glossary page rather than a daily article. You want calories, protein, and a weight trend without a lesson unlocking the next screen. You are on iPhone. You do not want ads.

That is Corvex’s job. Logging is free to start. Premium is history, charts, and stickers. Nobody from Corvex will ask you to reflect on a craving at 21:00, which is either a relief or a hole depending on why Noom worked.

Price, cancellation, and the 12-month shape

Read Noom’s current checkout and terms, not a comparison page. Annual plans that auto-renew are easy to forget and expensive to notice late. Corvex billing, if you go Premium, is an App Store subscription you cancel in Settings.

Do not cancel a program you still need because a tracker looked cheaper. Do not stay in a program you are ignoring because cancellation feels like failure. Those are separate decisions from which icon sits on your home screen.

FAQ

Is Corvex a cheaper Noom?

No. It is a different product. Corvex does not include coaching or a curriculum. Comparing the monthly prices as if they buy the same thing is how this category confuses people.

Does Corvex use food psychology or traffic-light food labels?

No. Foods are energy and macros. There is no good/bad colour system. If that framing helped you, you will miss it; if it made you worse, its absence is the point.

Can I use Corvex alongside Noom?

You can log in two places. It is tedious. If Noom’s logging is the part you hate and the lessons are the part you use, that split can make sense for a while. If you are paying for both, pick a date to choose.

Is Corvex on Android?

Not yet. If you are on Android, Corvex is not a Noom alternative of any kind.
